The Fun &
Serious Game Festival, Microsoft Ibérica, and the video game Forza
Motorsport 4 are giving festival
attendees the chance to see impressive cars rolling along the streets
of Bilbao. Moreover, they will be able to drive one of them at a
speedway.
On November 8,
Bilbao will become the European capital of videogames thanks to the
Fun & Serious Game Festival and its spectacular international
award gala, in which the best European video games of the year will
get awards. This will turn Bilbao into the capital of luxury and
glamour too, courtesy of Microsoft Ibérica and the video game Forza
Motorsport 4 for Xbox 360.
As if in Monte
Carlo, several luxury cars will roll along the streets of Bilbao,
showcasing their attractive and elegant features before the eyes of
Bilbaínos.
Afterwards, they will take celebrities and hosts to the award gala
venue: the Campos Elíseos Theatre in town.
Drive a Ferrari
The Fun &
Serious Game Festival, Microsoft Ibérica, and Forza
Motorsport 4 want to reward the lovers
of speed, adrenaline, and exciting adventures with something that
goes beyond just being dazzled by these amazing cars.
This is why they are
drawing lots for two different prizes. First of all, a brand-new Xbox
360 with Forza Motorsport 4
in it. To enter the competition, you just need to follow the Fun &
Serious Game Festival on social media and tell us what car on the
Forza Motorsport 4
you would drive to attend the gala and why. Messages must be sent
under the hashtag #forza4funandserious on Twitter or below the
corresponding note on Facebook. The list of cars is available on the
video game website
(http://forzamotorsport.net/es-es/Cars/ManufacturerList.aspx).
Five messages will be chosen by lots and the prize will go to the
most creative, funniest, or smartest answer among them.
And there’s more.
You can drive one of these Ferraris at the speedway in Catalonia.
How? Just be on the alert and take a snapshot of one of the cars in
Bilbao on November 8 –the day of the Fun & Serious Game award
gala. Then upload it through our social media channels, indicating
where you’ve taken the picture.
To take part in
either of the competitions (or in both), you have to be a follower or
fan of the Fun & Serious Game Festival on Twitter
(@funandserious) or Facebook.
The Fun &
Serious Game Festival is sponsored by the Government of the Basque
Country and the City of Bilbao, and supported by the Provincial
Government of Vizcaya, VaDeJuegos.com , DigiPen Institute of
Technology Europe-Bilbao, Virtualware, El
Correo, and APD.
