The Fun & Serious Game Festival 2012 awarded the best works of the year at a gala held at the Campos Elíseos Theatre. The awards were split into two distinct categories: Best Fun Video Games and Best Serious Games.

Award Winning Ceremony, the Gala
The Campos Elíseos Theatre hosted, for the second year in a row, the awards gala for the Best Fun Video Games and the Best Serious Games of 2012. An event attended by leading industry figures as Kevin Franklin, creator of Halo 4, Kellee Santiago, creator of Journey or Charles Cecil as well as personalities from the fields of culture, sport, film and television.

Activities and Conferences
This second edition of the festival has included a range of activities for all ages, such as conferences, workshops and panels, play areas and a spectacular League of Legends tournament, at such appropriate spaces as the Guggenheim Museum or Alhóndiga Bilbao. In addition to that, leading experts in Serious Games and Gamificación gathered at the Euskalduna Conference Centre and Concert Hall to discuss and reflect on the future trends in this sector.
